The friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome.

I was very disappointed with the loud air conditioning that kept waking us up throughout the night. The bathroom fan was excessively noisy, and the thin walls allowed every sound from neighboring rooms to penetrate my space, truly disturbing my rest. Additionally, the mattress was old and kept bouncing whenever my partner moved, which meant no peaceful sleep for either of us.

The cozy ambiance and engaging activities organized by the staff made our family vacation feel friendly and warm.

The bathroom near the indoor pool is quite outdated and could benefit from some renovation.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like Wi-Fi, indoor swimming pool, and a wonderful restaurant. The staff returned my forgotten hairbrush during my first stay. I recommend asking for Emily at the restaurant. I'm coming back for a trip!

We had such a fun time at this place with our two teenage kids! The staff planned daily activities, and we took a pontoon out on Thompson Lake. With a big indoor pool and activities like volleyball and bean bags, there was never a dull moment.

However, the air conditioning was too noisy for comfort, and the overall cleanliness didn't meet expectations, especially in shared areas. Despite these downsides, the staff was accommodating and made our special anniversary trip memorable with thoughtful preparations.

Oh boy! The breakfast at Holiday Acres Resort is a feast for the senses—delicious vegetarian dishes that felt like a culinary hug. Plus, Ella, Tabitha, and Pete run such fun daily activities that we never had a dull moment! The cozy atmosphere and view of the lake were the cherry on top of this delightful getaway!

Now for a cheeky twist, the bathroom near the indoor pool could use some TLC, and while the main bathroom was nice, it had that old-school vibe.

Loved the stay! Our room had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and a comfy seating area. Enjoyed family cookouts and a unique cowboy breakfast experience. The indoor pool was great for chill days, and the lush gardens added to the relaxing vibe. Owners treated us like family, which was super nice!

We stayed in a King Room with Spa Bath. The bed was super comfy, and the room was a nice size, which was great for relaxing. I loved having cable channels and a whirlpool, totally added to the experience. Plus, there were plenty of towels, which was a nice touch. The rustic vibe of the place fit perfectly with the whole Northwoods feel. Just a little dated, but it added to the charm.

Cabin offered easy access to water sports activities like canoeing, which was great for the family. Cleanliness needs improvement. we found some stains on the mattress. The beach area is sandy and perfect for kids.

Loved our spacious King Room with Spa Bath 🛁! The rustic vibe was perfect for relaxing, but the noisy air conditioner did interrupt our sleep. Overall, a great weekend getaway!
